Mexico City authorities seize 204 kilos of fentanyl from Hong Kong shipment

Mexico City, Q.R. — The General Administration of Customs (AGA) reports the seizure of 204 kilograms of fentanyl. The seizure was made at the Customs Office of the International Airport of the Mexico City in a shipment arriving from Hong Kong.

In coordination with the Secretariat of the Navy of Mexico and canine Zeus, customs personnel located the drug in eight cardboard boxes. Corresponding lab tests verified the contents as fentanyl.

The boxes were transferred into the custody of the General Anti-Drug Directorate to further their investigation.
