Wamos Air announces the temporary suspension of Cancun, Punta Cana flights

Cancun, Q.R. — Wamos Air has notified travel agencies of the suspension of its Cancun and Punta Cana operations until December. The company says that the suspension will be temporary and will take place effectively on September 11 and 12.

Wamos Air says that it already has dates scheduled for the December Christmas and New Year’s season.

“From Wamos Air, we are working and are focused on the continuity of an efficient operation to Caribbean destinations as we have been in the more than 18 years of the company’s history.”

“In this adaptation due to the circumstances of COVID-19, we continue to be immersed with our aircraft in the transport of all kinds of material, including medical material for the fight and eradication of viruses,” they detailed to travel agencies in their statement.

Wamos operates regularly to various Caribbean destinations such as Mexico (Cancun) and the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana).
