Two minors pulled from sea at Cancun’s Playa Marlin

Cancun, Q.R. — Two minors were pulled from the sea off a Cancun beach on holiday Monday. The pair were swimming off Playa Marlin when other beachgoers noticed them having problems. The incident happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. with members of the Cancun fire department responding to the call for help.

Other beachgoers rush to the Tourist Police Station on Kukulkan Boulevard, just meters from where the boys were located. Emergency responders arrived at the Cancun Hotel Zone beach and were successful in pulling both boys from the sea.

The boys, aged 12 and 14, were attended to by paramedics on the beach and not taken to hospital.
