Two men tracked on bus, arrested as suspects in Playa del Carmen murder

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A joint effort between the state attorney general and the attorney general of Yucatan resulted in the tracking of a bus carrying two men wanted as suspects for murder in Playa del Carmen.

The Attorney General’s Office of Quintana Roo says that after working with the Attorney General of Yucatan, they managed to arrest José Carlos N and José Miguel N as suspects in the murder of a 33-year-old woman in Playa del Carmen.

Agents of the Ministry of Public Security of Yucatan tracked a bus from the state of Quintana Roo to the outskirts of Mérida where the two accused were removed from the bus and arrested.

The pair are suspects in the death of an unnamed 33-year-old woman who was found deceased in her home in the Private Flamenco of the Colonia Misión de las Flores July 6.

The two men were processed in Merida and transferred to Playa del Carmen Wednesday night.
