Cancun, Q.R. — The Comisión Nacional de Seguridad reports the arrest of two men at the Cancun International Airport after they were found carrying methamphetamine.
Federal police say that after noticing two men acting nervous, they were interviewed through the Regional Security Division at the Cancun Airport. Upon review of their person, federal police found they had strapped bags of methamphetamine to their torsos.
In total, police seized 39 bags between the pair who were reportedly headed for Brussels.
Both men, along with their drugs, were made available to the Agent of the Public Ministry of the Federation, who will continue with the corresponding investigations.
