Cancún, Q. R.– Two officers from the Municipal Public Security Secretariat of Benito Juárez have been arrested.
The two police officers were taken into custody by members of the State Attorney General’s Office Wednesday for their alleged involvement in illegal activities.
According to the statement issued by the municipal office out of Cancun, the State Attorney General’s Office completed an arrest warrant against two members of the Municipal Police for crimes of Fuero Común.
The two arrested were identified only as A.C.Z. and M.D.J. No other details were released, only that they were detained and presented before state authorities.
