Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — The bodies of two people have been found in an abandoned hotel on the island of Isla Mujeres.
The old hotel, which is located on Avenida Francisco I. Madero, was noted by locals as a place where drugs were sold. Unofficially, one of the deceased is reported to be a relative of the owner of the building.
The hotel once known as Martínez was cordoned off while agents of the municipal and ministerial Police guarded the scene. Members from the State Attorney General’s Office also arrived to collect evidence and begin their investigation.
The identities or ages of the victims have not been released, nor the causes of death.
