Tulum, Q.R. — Three men related to the robbery to a convenience store in the town of Tulum have been arrested by state police.
According to their report, members of the state police in Tulum were on a surveillance and crime prevention tour when they were alerted to a robbery by Emergency 911.
Moving in, police reported that one of the convenience store workers reported a subject entering and ordering him to take him to the back storage where two other men were waiting. Ordering the store clerk to the floor, they demanded keys.
Before leaving the store, the trio made off with cash and merchandise. Police began an immediate search for the three suspects and were quickly able to track down the vehicle in which they reportedly fled.
Inside, members of the state police arrested three men identified only as E.A.H., S.C.C. and H.T.D.C. The store clerk was able to positively identify two of the three as the men who robbed the store. Police report that a search of their vehicle also lead to the discovery of two bags of cocaine.
They were arrested and a made available to the State Attorney General for the respective legal procedures.
