Tulum, Q.R. – The 13th Festival of the Sea Turtle in Tulum has been rescheduled for October 23 to 25.

On Sunday the 25th, visitors to the festival can join in the fun at 9:00 a.m. at Fishermen Beach at Tulum National Park where they can participate in a kite-flying contest. The festival will wrap up in Akumal at 4:00 p.m. with a pre-closing ceremony. The ceremony will include Mayan activites and music.
Munoz Berzunza explaines, “The event helps to educate children and adults alike about the importance of the protection and preservation of these endangered species.”
