Tulum police haul Nuevo León man to jail after firing gun at another man in city center

Tulum, Q.R. — A physical altercation between two saw one arrested for firearm possession. The arrest took place in central Tulum around 4:30 p.m. after patrolling police heard gun fire. When approaching the area, police saw two men fighting.

Municipal Police agents noticed one of the men yielding a weapon. According to a report by Tulum City Council, the man attempted to flee police, but he was caught and detained. In custody, Tulum police have 44-year-old Aldo N from Nuevo León.

Aldo and his 9-millimeter weapon and magazine with six rounds were taken to jail where he awaits further legal processing.
