Tulum Civil Protection continue search for missing American man

Tulum, Q.R. — The search for an adult male continued yesterday along a beach area of Tulum after the man’s wife reported him missing.

Tulum Civil Protection personnel began their search for the man after he was reported missing Thursday by his wife. Local volunteers were combing the Santa Fe Beach area outside Tulum Friday in search of the 55-year-old American man who, with his spouse, were visitors to the area.

By Friday afternoon, the search intensified and was expanded to include the jungle of Tulum National Park.

The missing man is reported to be Teodoro Nyman, 55, from the US. He was reported missing by his 47-year-old wife, Valeria Nyman from Argentina. Nyman says her husband does take medication. As of Friday afternoon, there was no report of his whereabouts.
