Would be thief experiences divine intervention

Chetumal, Q.R. — A neighborhood thief was caught empty handed but stuck in the metal frame of a window after trying to enter a building.

The building he was allegedly attempting to rob was a residential area church. The man apparently became stuck trying to squeeze through a small square window, however, he was unsuccessful at passing through its metal frame.

He was discovered the next morning, still trapped in the small window frame, when cleaners arrived at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Church personnel called 911 who sent the fire department. Firemen arrived with metal cutters which then took 20 minutes to free the man.

Emergency medical personnel also arrived to tend to his wounds. He was treated then arrested and sent before the public prosecutor’s office.

The would-be thief was verified as being a known neighborhood robber.
