Surveillance video captures passing jaguar during hotel closure in Tulum

Tulum, Q.R. — Closed hotels has meant a quieter environment with the capture of a jaguar on hotel video surveillance in Tulum.

The Bahia Principe Grand Tulum hotel, which is closed due to the current pandemic, caught the wandering animal on its surveillance video as it passed by the hotel’s glass doors during the night.

The night shot of the jaguar was uploaded and quickly became an online attraction. The jaguar, which is not seen often, is a protected species in the state of Quintana Roo.
