Cancún, Q. R. – More than 100 golfers from the U.S. and Mexico are set to participate in the February Super Bowl Golf Classic taking place in Cancun.
The Super Bowl Golf Classic is scheduled to begin at Punta Canun February 3 and conclude at Playa Mujeres February 4, the same day as the NFL Super Bowl at the US Bank Stadium of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Gerardo Peniche, operations director of Puerto Cancun and Brant Boston, of Cancun Golf Events said that money raised from the event will go toward Be Strong Cancun, a charity for children with cancer.
A sign up fee is required and will include two days of golf as well as a welcome kit, food and drinks and a Super Bowl Party at Plaza La Roca. Free drinks for players will be available beginning 4:30 until the end of the game.
Trophies will be awarded for the first three places. Halftime raffles will include an iPad and Apple watch.
