Weather for Cancun and Playa del Carmen will consist of high daytime temperatures with scattered clouds and little chance of rain.
According to the National Meteorological Service, weather for Playa del Carmen for the next several days will see daytime temperatures of 29C and nighttime lows around 22C. Light sea breeze winds of 15 to 30 km/h with interment cloudy skies are expected. The UV Index for the region of Playa del Carmen is rated as 10, very high. Sunscreen protection is advised.
For Cancun, expect a partially cloudy sky with maximum daytime temperatures of 28C and nighttime lows of 23C with east winds from 15 to 25 km/h. Sunday’s forecast calls for a 20 percent chance of morning rain. The rest of the week, the National Meteorological Service forecasts sun with a very high UV Index of 10.
For the coastal regions, maximum daytime temperatures are currently averaging between 32C and 34C with minimum nighttime lows of between 22C and 24C. Sunrise occurs at 7:10 a.m. and sunset at 6:56 p.m.
Local meteorologists have forecast an early summer for the region, anticipating extremely high daytime temperatures to begin during the spring.
