Speed likely factor in single vehicle roll outside Tulum

Tulum, Q.R. — The driver of a car that ended up on its roof was able to walk away from the scene. Over the weekend, the 46-year-old driver lost control of his compact car, overturning it outside Tulum.

The 8:00 a.m. accident had police close a section of the federal highway while they dealt with the scene. Paramedics were called, who evaluated the driver, Sergio N from the State of Mexico. He was treated on site for minor abrasions.

Speed is believed to have been a factor in the single-vehicle rollover.
