Cancun, Q.R. — Southwest Airlines has announced that as part of a global service expansion, it will be adding two additional routes to Cancun .
Beginning March 10, 2018, Southwest Airlines will also operate a new nonstop flight between San Jose, California and Cabo San Lucas on Saturdays and on the San Diego – Puerto Vallarta – San Diego route, a direct flight will be added on Saturdays and Sundays.
However, starting April, two new direct flights will be offered by Southwest Airlines to Cancun. One flight will depart Columbus, Ohio and the second from New Orleans. Flights are being offered starting April 14, 2018 but can be purchased now.
It will be the first route between Columbus and some destination in Mexico, although two other airlines, Delta and Vacation Express, also offer seasonal service to Cancun.
