Cancun, Q.R. — Beginning June, Southwest Airlines says they will once again, begin offering their daily non-stop service from San Antonio, Texas to Cancun.
Southwest Airlines made the Cancun announcement along with other new direct routes to Fort Lauderdale and Oakland that will also begin next year. The new direct flights to Fort Lauderdale and Oakland will also be from San Antonio and will begin July 8, 2018.
There was no exact date in June as to when the company will begin offering the daily Cancun service from the San Antonio International Airport, however, earlier this year, the company announced new nonstop flights from Columbus, Ohio and New Orleans to Cancun beginning April 14, 2018.
Flights from Indianapolis to Cancun will also continue with Southwest until April 6, 2018 with new seasonal flights between Cancun and Indianapolis operating on Saturdays starting March 10, 2018.
Carrying more passengers to, from, and within the great states, Southwest Airlines is thanking its loyal customers with even more flights including new nonstop routes and increasing frequency to existing routes as well as opening new international gateways to beach destinations like Cancun in Mexico’s Caribbean.
