Shipment of drug-laced candy bound for California seized

Mexico City, Mexico — Candy headed for the United States has been seized by la Guardia Nacional personnel after it was found to contain synthetic drugs.

The 61 chocolate-covered marshmallow popsicles and 10 watermelon-flavored popsicles were seized after they were found to contain synthetic drugs. The shipment was discovered in a courier company after an x-ray detailed irregularities in its cardboard box.

Upon inspection, the shipment of candy tested positive for drugs. The box, which was bound for California, was sized for the Federal Public Ministry Agent who will follow up on the corresponding investigations.
