Cancun, Q.R. – The ribbon cutting ceremony for the official opening of Xsenses in the Riviera Maya was a huge success.
Xenses group representatives from Experiences Xcaret including the president and vice president, Miguel Quintana Pali and Carlos Constandse respectively, were in attendance for the event.
Xsenses is a the latest in the string of the company’s parks. The concept of Xsenses is to offer a range of new experiences for visitors. There are zip lines, slides, a river of mud, a waterfall of rain as well as visual games and optical illusions that challenge all the senses. One of the more unique features of the park is a village where everything is upside down. Even the water flows uphill. The challenge for visitors is to walk through the village.
A large audience was on site waiting to enter the new facilities after the opening ceremony. This is the sixth park owned by the group, which opened its doors to the general public during the year of its twenty-fifth anniversary.
The 23-hectare park, which is attached to Xcaret, was an investment of $25.5 million. This unusual park has three different touring halls with optical and sound experiences that begin as soon as you enter.
Xsenses is currently open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., in two five-hour shifts which will be expand to seven days a week during peak season.
