Cancun, Q.R. — In coming months, the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council (CPTQ) will try to recover British tourism said tourism CEO, Darío Flota Ocampo. He says Mexico will be present at the upcoming November Word Travel Market in London.

According to the official, it will be a decisive strategy to become fully aware of the British government’s situation with Mexico regarding its travel restrictions since Mexico has been added to its red list.

He said for the upcoming event, they have requested a space in the Mexico Pavilion from where they are hoping to reactivate the British market. He added that during the tourism markets, they normally have between 10 and 12 appointments per day with British airlines and tour operators, adding that the Mexican Caribbean hosts approximately 400,000 visitors each year.
