Cancun, Q.R. — Members of Semar and the FGE were quick to respond to the report of an armed attack against a private vessel at Cancun. The report was made over the weekend after the boat, which was at sea, was approached by men allegedly armed with pistols.
Those on board the vessel were apparently threatened. There were no injuries reported. However, elements of Secretaría de Marina (Semar) were quick to respond and, according to Deputy Julian Ricalde who tweeted about the incident, arrests were made.
He also said that formal complaints would be filed after the Cancun Hotel Zone incident that took place Saturday.
