Cancun, Q.R. — PRI presidential candidate, José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, will arrive in Cancun today with a large political agenda aimed at the people and businesses of Quintana Roo.
The candidate for PRI-PVEM and New Alliance for the Presidency of the Republic, is expected to address the state with open dialogue with various sectors during his visit.
Meade spokeswoman Mariana Benítez said that Quintana Roo is a booming state with great expectation of development and that its PRI is important.
“Quintana Roo will be a great ally for our pre-candidate,” she said, indicating that his proposal will find several allies in this area of the country.
“It will be a great encounter with the militancy, with the business sector and the proposals will be put on the table. Meade knows that the main challenge that Quintana Roo has is the issue of security that is affected by the state,” she said.
Raymundo King de la Rosa, PRI state leader, confirmed that Meade Kuribeña will lead a massive event with the delegates of the party at the Toro stadium, at 3:00 p.m. in addition numerous meetings with different groups.
The state leader ruled out the negative figures being reflecting on his candidate, which he said have an unknown origin and questioned veracity. He stressed that the PRI is still strong in Quintana Roo “with great enthusiasm.”
