Presidential candidates begin to flow through Quintana Roo

Cancun, Q.R. — A week of tours by presidential candidates is scheduled for the state of Quintana Roo.

During the coming week, the first to visit will be Ricardo Anaya and Jaime Rodriguez “El Bronco”, followed by José Antonio Meade and Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Independent candidate, Margarita Zavala, is scheduled to visit the state in mid-May. Her teams says that Zavala will visit both Chetumal and Cancun.

The first presidential candidate, Ricardo Anaya Cortés, will rally in Playa del Carmen Sunday for the coalition Por México al Frente, which will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Polyforum Playa del Carmen.

On Monday, PRI, PVEM and Nueva Alianza, José Antonio Meade planned a public meeting with the militancy and candidates in Cozumel at 1:30 p.m. in Moby Dick.

On Friday Andrés Manuel López Obrador supporters will be able to hear him as he is greeted by fellow Morena leaders José Luis Pech Varguez, PT, Hernán Villatorio Barrios and the PES, Greg Sánchez Martínez.

For governor seat of Quintana Roo, current governor Carlos Joaquin Gonzalez says there are no candidates running in the upcoming elections.

“I do not have candidates,” he says. “What I do have is the desire for order, peace and tranquility, “he added.

The five presidential candidates will continue to tour various regions of the country in hopes of winning the upcoming presidential seat. Voting day is July 1.
