Popular Cancún sign gets repairs

Cancún, Q.R. – The popular Cancún sign at the height of the Cancun Hotel Zone has been closed off to photographers as the sign underwent repairs.

Earlier in the week, maintenance on the colorful Cancún sign at Playa Delfines has kept visitors from being able to grab a snapshot making the official I’ve been there statement. However, the sign has been repaired and repainted and is once again, available for photos.

The large-lettered Cancún sign sees hundreds of visitors a day during the heavy tourist seasons such as Easter.

Social media notices were posted earlier in the week, warning of the sign closure. Sign repairs included a mended base, fresh paint and renewed lighting for night photos.
