Police tow Isla Mujeres golf carts for irregular circulation

Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — Within the first 24 hours of tourism being reactivated on the island, police seized and towed two golf carts. Police stopped the drivers of the carts after they were seen circulating without properly placed plates and identification stickers.

Both carts, which were traveling along Rueda Medina, were towed to the island’s corralón Tuesday afternoon for irregular circulation. The users of the golf carts were carried on their way by local island taxis.
