Early Monday morning, several bullets were fired into the building of the state police command post on Cozumel. The post, which is located at 45 avenue between Benito Juarez and 1st street of the colony Adolfo López Mateos, was hit several times by gun fire.

The attack was recorded at around 1:00 a.m. when the gun fire was heard. There were no reports of injuries, only that two different types of shells were found at the scene.
