Cancun, Q.R. — The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to return to the city of Cancun for their annual football camp.
Members from the NFL team come to Cancun to provide football camps to both adults and children. The Steelers Football Camp MX will take place June 9th and 10th in Cancun as the professional players offer various scenarios and activities to participants.
Veteran and current NFL members from the Pittsburgh Steelers will be on hand to lend their expertise to those who sign up for the camp. The camp will be headed by former football center, Dermontti Dawson.
For the second consecutive year, Joey Porter, former linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers will also be on hand for the camp. Throughout his career, Porter was also linebacker for the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals.
Also joining in the camp this year will be current team players defensive end Stephon Tuitt (#91) for the second time, and fullback Roosevelt Nix. For the first time, running back James Conner (RB #30) will join fellow teammates for the Cancun football camp.
The Camp MX for adults will be held on Saturday June 9 at 8:00 a.m. at the Monteverde Educational Center in Cancun. On Sunday, June 10, the kids camp will begin at 7:00 a.m. Tickets for the camp go on sale May 25.
