Puebla — A crash between a passenger bus and two vehicles has left one dead and 15 injured. The accident occurred at kilometer 37 along the Puebla-Orizaba highway. The Ministry of Public Security of Puebla reported that the injured were transferred to hospital for urgent care.
The Secretary of Public Safety of the state reported that on Sunday, there was a car accident between an ADO passenger bus and two vehicles that left one person dead and 15 injured.
The state agency explained that firemen and ambulances arrived to extinguish flames and transfer the injured to hospital.
Preliminary reports say that an ADO bus heading for Veracruz collided with two private vehicles. The impact of the collisions caused all three vehicles to burst into flames.
Elements of the State Police cordoned off the area in both directions so that Puebla firefighters were able to put out the fires. The government of Puebla also provided two helicopters that landed in the area to transfer the injured to hospital.
