Cancun, Q.R. — An accident between a bus and car has left one dead after their collision along the Cancun-Merida highway.
The accident happened Sunday at 12:00 noon when a transport bus collided with a car, which was left overturned.
According to preliminary information, the ADO bus was minutes away from arriving in Cancun from Mérida when it collided with a car. The accident was recorded on the outskirts of the city when the right side of the bus made contact with the car, causing it to cartwheel.
The driver of the car was pronounced at the scene. People on the bus were not injured. They were loaded onto another bus and taken to the city center ADO terminal.
