Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya announces new opening date

Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Nickelodeon will see the opening of their first kid’s accommodation in Mexico’s Riviera Maya with the new announcement date of their hotel.

Nickelodeon, who has partnered with Karisma Hotels & Resorts, says the company will open its first hotel in Riviera Maya in early 2019. The children’s brand includes famous characters Sponge Bob Square Pants, Dora the Explorer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The new facilities will consist of a five-star experiential resort complete with 276 seaview swim-up Pad and Flat suites along with large Nickelodeon-themed penthouses with infinity pools.

The entire complex will be two six-story buildings outfitted with one of Riviera Maya’s largest water parks right at its centre. Aqua Nick water park including a lazy river, waterslides, a splash park, an interactive water playground for toddlers and mini relaxation pools.

Other resort amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center and tranquil spas that beckon relaxation, featuring kids’ treatments, individual suites, couple’s suites, a luxurious bridal suite, and outdoor treatment areas for al fresco pampering.

The new property will be Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya and constructed on nearly 500,000 square feet of land in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. The hotel, which was originally scheduled to open in December 2017, now says they will open in the spring / summer of 2019.
