Riviera Maya, Q.R. – Karisma Hotels & Resorts and Viacom International Media Networks have said that the new Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya should be ready for December.
The first of themed children’s projects for Riviera Maya, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts will feature a 288-room hotel with swim-up and infinity suites, each with its own pool. The suites will have their own private balcony or terrace and face the sea.
The complex will consist of two buildings that will offer direct access to swimming pools, swim-up bars and unobstructed ocean views. Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya’s accommodations will include one, two and three-bedroom suites.
The hotel will feature all the popular Nickelodeon characters with unexpected character visits for guests and will consist of entertainment within the Nickelodeon Place, which will include Just Kiddin’, a hangout for children as well as Character Central where hotel guests can meet figures such as Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. On site will also be a kid’s spa.
The hotel is slated to open December 2017 while construction for the new Dreamworks theme park is scheduled to begin around the same time.
