Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. – A new marina tourist project has been proposed for the town of Puerto Aventuras.
The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat) received the project proposal in March, a proposal that would see a new marina added to the area. The new tourist development is Marina Bay Owner’s Suites and Ventura Club, which will consist of a three-story building offering suites, a roof terrace and garden area as well as swimming pools, an artificial beach and parking lot. It will also have a restaurant and large palapa bar area called Ventura Club that will be outfitted with a club pool and jacuzzi bar.
The project has been proposed for a recently sold plot of land, San Martin. Project promoter, Jorge Bazurto Bustanzair, presented a plan that will see more than 5,600 square meters of land cleared to make way for the accommodations. Another 300 square meters may be modified for green space while an additional 300 square meters could be used as a natural conservation area.
The project is owned by RRT Proyectos Integrales and is expected for 2019. The company anticipates the new development will cost 100 million peso.
