Narcotics dog finds man transporting drugs on express combi

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man was removed from a public combi and arrested after being sniffed out by a narcotics dog during an inspection. The man was riding a public combi from Playa del Carmen to Cancun when the van was pulled over.

The public passenger van was inspected at the Playa del Carmen police filter on the outskirts of Cancun. One man aboard the van was signaled out by the narcotics dog. He was in possession of a backpack where police located 21 bags of marijuana and 26 bags of crack cocaine.

The man, identified as Carlos N, was taken from the public express combi and transferred to police facilities.
