Cancun, Q.R. — A man was lucky to have been able to walk away with nothing more than scratches after his car became embedded under a double-long semi. The incident happened along a section of the Cancun-Merida highway Friday evening.
Elements of the National Guard attended to the scene. According to the report, the driver of the car was traveling along the highway when the parked semi suddenly began to move, rejoining the highway. The unidentified driver of the car said he wasn’t able to react in time.
The result was the front of his car becoming crushed by one of the flatbeds of the semi. The double-long trailer was transporting a large load of bricks at the time of the accident.
Although completely smashed in, the man was able to walk away from his crushed car with nothing more than a few minor skin abrasions.
