Tulum, Q.R. — A man who had been running from the law since 2007 was apprehended in Tulum Wednesday. The 39-year-old man from the State of Mexico was found in a municipal checkpoint during a routine stop.
Israel N was arrested from his green ATV after police learned he had an outstanding warrant since September of 2007. Authorities did not provide information on what the warrant was for.
Israel N was taken into custody from the Avenue Kukulkan checkpoint and handed over to state authorities.
