Cozumel, Q.R. — A man who was shot to death inside a Cozumel pet food store Tuesday evening was known to police.
The shooting happened at a pet store located on Avenida Miguel Borge Marín, between Morelos and 5 Sur in Colonia San Gervasio.
Reports say the man was shot multiple times by two men who then fled on a motorcycle. The unidentified man, who died on scene, was apparently known to police.
The victim had a record of arrests that included drug-related offenses and gun possession.
Agents of the ministerial police along with members of the General State Attorney’s Office and state police arrived to investigate. No arrests were made.
