INM deports another 109 Hondurans from Mexico

Minatitlán, Veracruz — Immigration officials out of Veracruz report the deportation of 109 illegal Hondurans found in the city of Minatitlán.

El Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) says that 109 Hondurans, mostly families with children who remained in the country under irregular conditions, were deported. The agency says that the deportation occurred from Minatitlán, Veracruz to the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula in coordination with the consulate of Honduras.

“The @INAMI_mx informs about the return by air of 109 people of Honduran nationality from # Minatitlán, Veracruz to San Pedro Sula, #Honduras, mostly families with children, who had an irregular stay condition in # Mexico”, reported the INM.

The 109 people were boarded onto a plane with members of the Federal Police and the National Institute of Migration (INM). Over the past week, more than 200 Hondurans have been deported from Tabasco and Veracruz.
