Hard Rock Hotel set to open larger luxury brand

Cancun, Q.R. – Luxurious and grand, a new Hard Rock Hotel set to open in Cancun by 2017.

The iconic hotel brand is set to build a much larger and more luxurious Hard Rock Hotel about 4 kilometers from the Cancun International Airport.

In a press release, Marco Roca, EVP and chief development officer of hotels for Hard Rock International, said, “We are excited to welcome our fifth property in Mexico and build upon our collaboration with All Inclusive Collection.

“Boasting an exotic backdrop, superb climate and unrivaled amenities, including a beachfront lagoon pool, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun will offer the ultimate resort experience, tempting travelers to never leave.”

Roca says the new resort will consist of 1,800 lavish oceanfront rooms, six world-class restaurants and multiple entertainment venues set to take place in the new 90,000 square foot convention center. The extravagant convention center will be used to host meetings, events and banquets as well as theme parties, weddings, concerts and business gatherings.

Aside from six restaurants, the hotel will be outfitted with five bars and lounges and an 8 million gallon lagoon-style swimming pool overlooking the famous white beaches of Cancun. The new Hard Rock Hotel will also offer a variety of excursions.

“We are happy to continue the successful partnership with Hard Rock Hotels and look forward to offering guests of all ages an all-access pass to luxury, relaxation and entertainment in one of the world’s leading leisure destinations,” said Frank Maduro, vice president of marketing at All Inclusive Collection.

“Family-centric experiences include a dedicated kids club, a private teen zone and designated family pool areas, while adults will indulge in exclusive gathering spaces encompassing a nightclub, private pools with outdoor terraces and numerous entertainment offerings.”

This will be the brand’s third hotel in the Cancun-Riviera Maya and it’s fifth all-inclusive in the country.
