Four believed involved in deadly shooting arrested with 362 bags of narcotics

Playa del Carmen, Q,R. — Four people pegged as participants in a deadly shooting were arrested with a large variety of narcotics. The arrests were made after witnesses to the Friday night shooting pointed out their getaway vehicle to police.

The shooting happened Friday night in the Villas del Sol area of Playa del Carmen from which, witnesses detailed to police, four people fled aboard a Chevy. Police were successful in locating the vehicle using witness descriptions.

The car was found nearby and searched, leading police to the discovery of 362 bags of various narcotics. Taken into custody was 27-year-old Juan N, Saúl N, 22, Erick N, 25 and Zeydi N, 18.

All four were arrested at the intersection of Garzas and Cigüeñas Avenue were their vehicle was located and intercepted by authorities. Police found a backpack with cash and 362 bags of marijuana, crystal meth, crack and powdered cocaine products inside.
