Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Five people were left with injuries in a two-vehicle traffic accident Saturday afternoon. The federal highway collision took place near Xcalacoco after a car and passenger combi collided.
According to the police report, the driver of the car attempted to change lanes from the extreme right to the extreme left. In doing so, the driver collided with an oncoming combi that was carrying passengers.
The 3:20 p.m. accident left five of those combi passengers with injuries and an estimated 200,000 in material damage.
