Cozumel, Q.R. — Cozumel firemen responding to a home blaze located the body of a man inside. On Friday, Cozumel firemen arrived at a home around 2:30 a.m. in Emilio Zapata where they found the house on fire.
Elements of the Quintana Roo Police and fire department attended the scene, who, when putting out the fire, discovered the body of an adult male. The man is believed to be the 43-year-old owner, who burned to death inside.
Neighbors told authorities that the man lived alone. Data collected by the FGE revealed that the deceased had a skull fracture. Several pieces of concrete blocks were found near the body, however, they are thought to be part of the collapsed roof.
