Cancun, Q.R. – After an eight-year absence, the all-American eatery, TGIF has returned to Cancun.
As the city of Cancun continues to grow, the company decided to reinstate their famous restaurant. Álvaro Traconis Flores, general manager of Corporate ROP, says that “The new restaurant in Cancun is the spearhead for further study options in Chetumal, Playa del Carmen and possibly another branch in Cancun.”
This latest move is a part of the company’s development plans for Mexico’s southeast. Flores said the restaurant-bar is the 21 restaurant in Mexico, and the fifth of his company. The new Cancun establishment is located in Pabellón Cumbres (Summit Pavilion) and has a capacity of 300.
The new TGIF is focused on the local urban market with a very modern concept aimed at all age groups. The newly designed restaurant features a central bar, open kitchen, wide terrace and live music Thursday to Saturday.
