Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — A new concept is currently being developed on Rueda Medina Avenue that would see a beach club ready by the end of the year.
The new beach club concept is of the group By Hoka. Ricardo Guadarrama, representative of the project, explained that it is the renovation of two spaces located on the Rueda Medina, specifically where old palapas existed. Now, they are looking to unify them into a single one-level space.
With the consolidation of Isla Mujeres as a magical town, there is a greater investment, not only in the continental zone of Isla Mujeres, but also in the insular zone. This can be seen by the several projects that are currently being developed in the first square of the city.
Guadarrama explained that the new project will offer an important attraction not only for the pedestrian zone, but also to the interior of the bay. He explained that the idea of remodeling this beach club is to organize catamarans and boats through two wharves which were renovated within the same project. They will highlight a fresh and innovative concept.
Guadarrama said they have all the necessary permits to carry out the remodeling, including the Environmental Impact Statement, adding that the project is completely environmentally friendly.
The project in general consists of a palapa with a commercial area and the integral remodeling of the two wharves of the federal zones.
The idea is to give a more renewed image to what in theory, many of the tourists are looking for that come to Isla Mujeres. This will ensure they have a more pleasant recreational area and that they also have a more pleasant waiting time, enjoying the facilities,” he explained.
He concluded by saying that the construction, which is now in progress, is expected to advance introducing material from the region that is friendly to the environment as well as the reforestation of more coconut palms.
