Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — City officials continue to work on finding a new site for taxis and colectivos to alleviate traffic congestion in the city’s center.
Head of Transport and Urban Development Cesar Navarro Medina said that it is necessary to relocate the public transportation site to help unlock vehicular traffic.
He explains, “Already today the traffic is quite heavy in the municipality and where for some time there has been the intention to attend to the circulation of that area.”
Navarro Median also mentioned that during their next transport committee meet, they will discuss which streets will need to undergo a change of direction to improve circulation in the center of Playa del Carmen.
