CAPA creates new Citizen Advisory Council for Tulum

Tulum, Q.R. — La Comisión de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado (CAPA) has created a new Citizen Advisory Council as part of the Together We Do More program in the municipality of Tulum.

During the event which was chaired by the general director of CAPA, Gerardo Mora Vallejo, he stressed the importance of the program which expands possibilities of the participation of people so that they can propose solutions to problems in a voluntary, honest and transparent way.

During the swearing in of the Citizen Council, the progress of CAPA in the municipality was outlined, noting the more than 130 million peso that has been invested in terms of drinking water, drainage and sanitation in the first two years of Carlos Joaquín’s government, to improve the services provided to the people.

The Citizen Advisory Council of the CAPA in Tulum is composed of Luis Felipe Dzib Us, José Antonio Cohuo Ortega, Susano Canul May, María del Carmen May Canul, Aurelia Aban Ku and Lucía Nahuat Aban.
