Cancun, Q.R. — Large brands including Google, Microsoft and Universal Studios have confirmed their attendance for the second Cancun Travel Forum.
Hosted by the Ciudad de la Alegría Foundation, the second Cancun Travel Forum will see a two-day international conference for those who focus on tourism.
Katty Rosado Rodríguez, director of the Foundation, says that already 18 international brands have confirmed their attendance where leaders, directors and CEOs of companies will make a variety of presentations.
“Universal Studio is going to talk about how they attract tourism and how they fill their parks,” she said.
The international forum will be held on September 20 and 21, 2018 in Cancun. During these two days, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Universal Studios, among others, will meet. The conference will be an asset to local tourism companies due to the increase in foreign investments including a theme park for Riviera Maya.
Rosado Rodríguez says that the event also generates useful information for general and middle managers in tourism as well as those in sales and technology. The foundation is hoping to raise 750,000 peso in ticket sales for the creation of two local projects.
