Cancun, Q.R. — Municipal government officials of Benito Juárez have successfully secured more development investments for the upcoming year. Mayor Remberto Estrada Barba noted that the city remains an attractive destination for investors, both domestic and foreign, mainly due to its geographical location and position as a leader in tourism for Mexico and Latin America.
He has confirmed that for 2017, the municipality of Benito Juárez will see investments in excess of $800 million in the tourism sector, a figure that will translate into sources of employment.
“Cancún, without a doubt, is a successful destination and with strategic and adequate public policies we will continue to increase its potential as a place for attracting large investments. In this way we continue with a greater economic flow that in the end propitiates a better quality of life for the local people.”
