Cancun police take 7 into custody for alleged homicide involvement

Cancun, Q.R. — Elements of the Quintana Roo Police report the arrest of seven people in Cancun, including a 14-year-old girl, for their alleged involvement in the death of a young male.

In a statement, police say that the seven were arrested for their alleged involvement in the crime of homicide along with possession of a firearm, ammunition and drugs.

Police detailed that four women and three men were taken into custody by Quintana Roo Police personnel in Region 259 of Cancun after a young male was found deceased outside his place of business.

According to their report, police officers succeeded in arresting Fabiola N, Mónica N, Aremi N and a 14-year-old girl as well three men identified as Jorge N, Emmanuel N, and Rafael N, who were found in possession of two firearms and various ammunition in addition to 33 street doses of marijuana at the time of their arrest.
