Cancun police catch two fleeing toward taxi for murder

Cancun, Q.R. — Elements of the Quintana Roo Police of Benito Juárez have arrested two men accused of murdering their Cancun roommate.

In a statement, the alleged were captured in the vicinity of Region 259 of Cancun while trying to escape in a taxi. Elements of the Policía Quintana Roo de Benito Juárez reported hearing firearm detonations before observing two men who began running toward a Andrés Quintana Roo Tsuru taxi for an escape.

The officers also saw a person lying down with gunshot impacts, which caused them to immediately begin a persecution which led to the arrest of the alleged perpetrators. Authorities have identified the detained as 28-year-old Jonathan N and 21-year-old Jorge N. They were taken into custody for the alleged murder of a male they apparently lived with.
